About ConvFiles

ConvFiles is a free, browser-based file conversion hub with 34 tools for PDF, image, and text/code processing. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.

Our philosophy

File tools should be free, fast, and private. We built ConvFiles because too many online tools upload your files to servers, require accounts, or limit free usage. We believe that's unnecessary for the vast majority of file operations, which can run perfectly well in modern browsers.

Technology

• PDF tools — PDF-lib v1.17.1 and PDF.js v3.11.174 (both open-source, run client-side)
• Image tools — Browser Canvas API (no external libraries)
• Text & Code tools — Native JavaScript (JSON, URL, Base64) + Marked.js for Markdown
